MITIGATION PLANTING AND ESTABLISHMENT – LAKE ISABELLA DAM MITIGATION PROJECT

From August of 2016 to December of 2020, Landology performed as the Prime Contractor to complete a 142-acre habitat mitigation project with 2 sites and a 4-year establishment period. The project consisted of seed collection, growing plants in an in-house nursery, installation of 41,000 native plants with above ground irrigation, drill seeding the entire site with a native plant mix, a design-build 1-acre wetland and installation of 1000 live willows along the wetland. This project also required Landology to drill 2 new wells to provide a water source for the project and install solar panels to power the well. This project required monthly reports, annual reports, and plant surveying.
